A little rant about life.
Everyone seems to be saying that their life is going to be amazing ‘when they grow up’ or ‘soon’. Why then? Why not now? Why not step out of your comfort zone and start LIVING the way you want to?
Want to be an awesome guitar player one day? Take up lessons. And PRACTICE.
Want to be wealthy when you’re older? Try hard in school and get good grades. Your friends will still be there to muck around with and shit after lessons. Why fuck up your grades just to have a bit of a laugh? Who the fuck cares if you get called a nerd? Being smart is something to be proud of.
Don’t wait for shit to be handed to you. Get off your ass and earn it.
What people say in high school may be harsh, but in ten years time if you’ve gotten into an awesome uni and you’ve got friends that you will keep forever, you’re not going to care about what was said to you in high school.
BE YOURSELF.
Everyone’s heard someone say ‘You only live once’. No one knows if that’s true or not, but what if it is? If you only have one life to lead you’d want to do it in the best way possible, right? I know I do.
Don’t listen to people who say you can’t do it. If you want it bad enough, and try your hardest to get what you want in life, then you can do it. Believe it or not, you’re your own person.
